A three year old girl is being hailed a ‘pee wee Picasso’. Aelita Andre, who has just learnt to tie her own shoelaces, has been painting at her home in Melbourne, Australia, since she was just nine months old. Her rise to art world fame started when she was just 22 months and her parents took 15 of her canvasses to the Brunswick Street Gallery in the city. They didn’t tell the curator her age - and the gallery agreed to show the work. It was a huge success and seven of her canvasses sold before the exhibition even opened.
